Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of the theguests.app web application (the "Service") operated by LK Holding & Solutions s.r.o. (the "Provider"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms in full.

2. The Service

The Service provides guestlist management, QR code generation and event check-in. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted availability. The Service is currently offered free of charge; paid plans may be introduced in the future with prior notice.

3. Accounts & user responsibility

You must protect your credentials, keep them confidential and report any unauthorised use. You are responsible for all data uploaded to the Service, including the lawful basis for processing personal data of your guests (consent, contract, legitimate interest).

4. Prohibited use

• Attempts to breach security, reverse-engineer or overload the infrastructure.
• Uploading unlawful, offensive or harmful content.
• Using the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam).
• Processing personal data without a valid legal basis.

5. Limitation of liability

The Provider is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or damages caused by service downtime, data loss or misuse. The Provider's maximum liability is in any case capped at the amount you paid for the Service in the last 12 months (or zero for the free tier).

6. Term & termination

This agreement remains in effect until either party terminates the account. The Provider may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. After termination data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.

7. Final provisions

Governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes are resolved by the competent Czech courts. The Provider may amend these Terms; material changes will be communicated by e-mail or in-app at least 14 days in advance.
